Submitting a takedown notice
Send your notice through our contact page with the subject "DMCA Notice". It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on our site.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may be ineffective. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation may expose you to liability for damages under § 512(f).
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice including your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where we may be found).
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
